En la actividad participaron 43 productores de las regiones Selva Norte, Fronteriza y Los Altos II del estado de Chiapas.
El taller abordó la producción de setas, especialmente los siguientes temas:
- Generalidades de los hongos
- Importancia nutrimental
- Producción de semillas
- Preparación del sustrato (olotes, cascabillo de frijol, caña, rastrojo)
- Hidratación del sustrato
- Escurrimiento
- Preparación de bolsas
- Siembra
- Incubación
- Fructificación
- Cosecha
- Plagas y enfermedades (pulgón, mosca,mosquito, catarina, ratón, entre otras)
- Preparación de platillos con setas
Durante este taller teórico-práctico se llevaron a cabo dinámicas y actividades de integración que, además de ofrecer elementos para desarrollar proyectos productivos, ayudara a las comunidades y a los productores a mejorar las relaciones entre ellos.
Al concluir el taller se entregaron reconocimientos de participación.
Este taller se realizó con el apoyo de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Social y la Fundación Luís María Martínez.
